This notice explains how Local Launch Studio handles an inquiry about a website project.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry, we collect your name, business name, email, optional phone number, industry, optional website or social link, requested features, message, and contact consent. We also store submission and update times. Please do not include passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information.
Why we collect it
We use these details to respond to your request, assess project fit, agree a scope, and manage the project if you go ahead. We do not add you to a mailing list, sell your details, or share them for advertising.
Where your details go
Inquiries are stored in the studio’s database. Access to the inquiry inbox requires owner authentication. The application and database hosting providers necessarily process this data to run the service. No inquiry email notification provider or analytics service is currently connected.
Spam protection and cookies
To limit abuse, the server temporarily stores a keyed, non-reversible identifier derived from a network address, request counts, and expiring form checks. These are removed automatically after expiry, usually within two hours. Owner sign-in uses secure, HTTP-only session cookies. Customer accounts are not used. Form drafts are saved in this browser tab’s session storage to avoid losing your input; successful submission clears the draft. Closing the tab normally clears the remaining draft.
Other services
Illustrative photos load from Unsplash and fonts load from Google Fonts; these services receive standard network information when your browser requests their resources. If you receive and use a Stripe payment link after acceptance, Stripe processes payment and billing-address information under its own privacy terms. The studio stores payment references, amount, currency, status, and whether a transaction is test or live, but not card details. Minimal financial references may remain after an inquiry is deleted where needed for reconciliation and required recordkeeping. Concept demo interactions do not send inquiries or payments.
AI-assisted drafting
The owner may request an outreach or website-copy draft using Claude, an Anthropic model accessed through our AI service provider. Only a business name, industry, and a brief explicitly reviewed by the owner are submitted. Inquiry contact fields, messages, and private notes are not automatically included. Contact-like email and phone text in the submitted brief is redacted where detected; the owner must remove other personal or sensitive information before sharing. Drafts are stored privately for owner review and editing. No AI-generated message is sent or website published automatically. Drafts attached to an inquiry are removed when the inquiry is deleted; standalone drafts are managed separately by the owner.
Retention and your choices
The owner reviews unconverted inquiries for deletion after 90 days unless an ongoing conversation requires retention. This is a manual review policy, not automatic deletion. Accepted-project and legally required financial records may need longer retention. To request access, correction, or deletion, reply to the studio’s project correspondence. If you have not received a reply yet, use the inquiry form with “Privacy request” in the message and the same email address. Identity will be verified before data is shared or changed.
